Join Aberdeen Hockey Club and become a part of our vibrant and inclusive community. Our vibrant youth section is for children in Primary 3 and upwards. 

Membership Fees

•    Youth: £8 per month

Our monthly membership fees include all training sessions, matches, and club events. Club members are required to purchase their own kit, which is available via our online club shop.
 

Training Sessions

We hold weekly training sessions for our members, providing an opportunity to improve your skills, make new friends and enjoy the sport of field hockey.

•    When: Wednesday nights, 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
•    Where: Rubislaw playing fields
•    Cost: First sessions are always free - so come and give us a try

At Aberdeen Hockey Club, we are committed to developing young talent and providing a supportive and fun environment for kids to learn and grow in the sport of field hockey. Our experienced coaches and dedicated volunteers work hard to ensure that our junior members have the best possible experience as they begin their hockey journey.

Our Coaching Philosophy

Junior Training Sessions

Our junior training sessions are designed to help young players develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment. With a combination of structured drills, small-sided games, and friendly matches, our junior members have the opportunity to learn and grow at their own pace.

Pathway to Adult Teams

Our junior development program is designed to prepare young players for a seamless transition into our adult teams. By providing a solid foundation in hockey skills and fostering a love for the sport, we ensure that our young players are well-equipped to join the adult section when they come of age.
